Not sure it was a good decision to have an autistic camper at camp. It was definitely a challenge for safety and assignments, but everyone learned a lot.

Performed formal induction of members into Club 6651. Read oath and gave out pins.

Success Planning

Discussed club goals to become a Select Distinguished Club by June 30, 2004. Gave requirements and role assignments.

Be aware of those Ums even though they were not as numerous as usual.

Question posed kept people’s interest. Great presence and vocal variety. Very good description of setting and main character. Could describe other characters and expand question beyond setting.

Evaluated who had grammatical errors.

Timer:

All but one speaker were within allotted time frames. Did very good job as first-time timer.

Area 47 Humorous Speech Contest

The Area 47 Humorous Speech Contest will be Monday, September 29th at 5:00 p.m. in the Hilton Hotel on Route 28 in Herndon.  We need two judges, two timers, and two lights.
