Heaven was going to a Shania Twain concert.
Hell was the result of the Red Sox vs. NY Yankees World Series. Both

Best and Worst |
Asked all attendees to answer two questions. |
|
Question #1: |
All Attendees |
What do you like best about our meetings? |
Organization: gentle prodding from VP of Education;
flexibility in Toastmaster of the Day role; smiling, positive,
dedicated members who facilitate meeting role switching. Table Topics: great variety in topics. Speeches: excellent, enlightened topics; sincere
speakers. Evaluations: good lessons in use of space, gestures,
speech organization, and vocal variety. |
|
Question #2: |
All Attendees |
How can we improve our meetings? |
Organization: starting and ending on time; facilitation
of late arrival; bringing more guests. Speeches: time limit focus including listing in
agendas; more speeches per meeting; having hip-pocket (backup) speeches. Evaluations: more lessons and experience for newer
members; notes from all members. |
